11/23/2021: ASVAB testing will be held on Wednesday December 8th at 9:00.

​10/8/2021: Financial Aid Night - Wednesday, October 20 at 6:00 in the IMC. Mike Prasher from the DPI will be here to talk to us about financial aid and the FAFSA. We will also talk a bit about scholarships.

1/12/2021: CVTC Career Tours
Register today to save your spot!
Upcoming virtual Career Tours are scheduled on the dates listed below. Registration is required.
  • Tuesday, February 9th at 9:30 – 10:30 am
  • Tuesday, March 9th at 9:15 – 2:00 pm**
  • Wednesday, April 28th at 9:30 – 10:30 am
Tuesday, March 9th coincides with Wisconsin ACT testing day. A variety of virtual sessions will be offered throughout the day to accommodate increased demand and provide flexibility to participants. Career and college exploration worksheets and activities will be available for teachers who wish to incorporate event participation into classroom curriculum. Detailed event information will be provided upon registration.

11/16/2020:WiRSA 2020-21 High School Student and Spring Student Teacher Scholarships
WiRSA is proud to announce that the 2020-21 Scholarship Program Applications are now available on the WiRSA website. Each Scholarship is worth $750 and there will be six scholarships given to a member high school student going into any post-secondary field (deadline is Feb.19,2021), six scholarships given to member high school students going into the field of education (deadline is Feb.19,2021) and four scholarships for student teachers working at a member school district (deadline is January 8,2021).

November 2020 – We are hosting three more special sessions for Wisconsin Students.
These sessions are shorter than a live information session, about 30 minutes total, (see below) and similar to a high school visit here in Wisconsin.
These are hosted by UW-Madison Admissions Counselors and provide some information and lots of time for your questions!

11/4/2020 This one is for future automotive students of Wisconsin technical colleges. The Foundation of the Wisconsin Automotive and Truck Dealers Association is awarding scholarships for students in Automotive, Diesel, Auto Collision and Motorcycle Technician programs. See www.watda.org/Scholarship to apply. The deadline of January 15, 2021 is firm.

11/4/2020 CVTC has just announced that November is "Go-vember". If you apply this month, your application fee will be waived. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! You will also get a free T-shirt and you will be entered in a drawing for a $500 scholarship to CVTC. What a deal!

11/1/2020 A virtual college fair will be held on Sunday, November 8th. Over 600 colleges will be represented. For more information, or to register, go to virtualcollegefairs.org/events/7/exhibitors

We're expecting nearly 100 colleges, universities, military branches, and specialty schools to participate in the college fair portion.
Offering a free monthly virtual college fair from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m., followed by 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. interactive financial aid presentation.
